Mutton Galouti (Galawati) Kabab [Chef Special-Signature Dish]

Originated from Lucknow, awadh’s special kabab. 'galouti' or 'gelawati' means soft and these kebabs are a literal melt-in-mouth delicacy. Minced mutton is marinated and tenderized in a host of spices for 8-12 hours and seasoned with some secret spices and dry fruits with a smoky aroma of cloves and cardamom and shallow fried in patty shape in special mahtava. ( special copper pan from lucknow for taste enhancement ). These kababs were invented because of the nawab’s love for kababs.

Prepared with mutton pieces / minced meat processed with bengal gram, chickpeas , in house made secret awadhi shami kabab masala and whole spices with a smoky aroma of cloves and cardamom and shallow fried in patty shape in special mahtava.

Chicken Shami Kabab

This syrian local kabab, has now become a famous homestyle veg kabab of lucknow. We prepare this kabab with love and passion with the same homestyle recipe and method of lucknow. Prepared with soya granules, bengal gram, chicpeas, some vegetables are mixed and processed with house made secret awadhi shami kabab masala, fried dry fruits and whole spices with a smoky aroma of cloves and cardamom and shallow fried in patty shape in special mahtava. Jackfruit( Kathal ) Kabab- [ Seasonal- Awadhi Style]

A very popular vegetarian delight in and diabetic friendly. Raw jackfruit is seasoned with some in-house secret spices, cooked with chickpeas, with a smoky aroma of cloves and cardamom and shallow fried in patty shape in mahtava ( special copper tawa for taste enhancement). A diabetic friendly recipe. Raw jackfruit is great for diabetes , high in fibre and hence offers higher satiation due to higher fibre and water content.
